A greater version of Alternate Identity in which the Character or Item can be drastically altered.
The Alternate Form has a pool of Points to be spent on Attributes, Defects, and Stats. It is also possible to lower the character's base form Stats or lower its Attribute Levels to regain Points, and to spend Points to "buy off" Defects.
Alternate Form requires some form of inherent disadvantage to be assigned, so that staying in the alternate form all the time is a disadvantage.
The form, once created and approved by the Game Master, cannot usually be changed without the approval of the GM.
Alternate Form can be assigned multiple times for multiple different forms. To have an unlimited amount of forms it is advised to use the Dynamic Powers or Power Flux Attributes.

Rules in Previous Editions[]
Absent in First and Second Editions, the attribute Alternate Form first appeared in the d20 variant edition. It costs 2 Points for Cosmetic Changes, this was considered a Rank 0 option that modified none of the attributes of the character. 3 Points/Rank was the cost for a Partial-Powered Form built from 10 Points/Rank allowing for the user to alter Abilities, Attributes, and Defects. Abilities were set at 0 and raised through the acquired Points. Game Master curation was a necessity to what Attributes, Defects, and Skills functioned normally or not. 9 Points/Rank was the cost for a Full-Powered Form. It included the previous form's Attributes, Skills and Defects as well as any new ones acquired by using that form.
The Third Edition's Alternate Form cost 9 Points/Level and allowed for another form to be built from 10 Points/Level. Reducing attributes replaced the ranked tiers Alternate Form was bought at allowing the character to sell off attributes by draining the points and levels of particular attributes to increase the allotment of Points total. Metamorphosis was suggested as an alternative for Alternate Form and remains one onward.
